lol I'm too tired to think of a creative title. Just wanted to give my account a little life while I focus on completing assignments and apply for internships. Yeah, busy,busy. Also my internet is really wonky, so I gotta go to the library in order to browse. (Even then, it kinda sucks, but meh.)

<h2>Macbook, REJOICE!! Sorta.</h2>
Alright, I finally bought a Mac!XP Geez, ever since my desktop died, I've been using my 3-year old HP laptop so much that it can't survive half an hour without a powercord. Anyways, these macs are interesting. It's got good power, speed, stronger wireless, and a nice smooth interface. Still, I am consistently irritated by its...how shall I say it...'quirks'. Why do I need to add all my pictures into iphoto to view their thumbnails? Why can I not make shortcut folders? Are you doing stupid sh*t cuz you're trying to look "alternative"? Is that it?! But, weirdness aside, overall it's a good solid machine. I'm sure I'll be able to enjoy it, I just have to learn it.

<h2>Frontpage WTF?!?!</h2>

Hey, I don't know how many of you were there when it happened, but a couple days ago there was this animation in the 'opular' section on the frontpage. It was a stupid stick-figure humping the word "your mom". Yet somehow, the deviant who submitted it got 36,000 pageviews in LESS THAN 3 DAYS. Turns out he was just a 15-year old loser, and all his deviations were stolen off the web. He's banned now, fortunately, but I was kinda shocked that it took a whole day since his stick animation got frontpage before it happened. Anyways, the whole thing just reminded me that most people on deviantart are shallow and immature. It's not such a bad thing tho. It just means there's no need to worry about being "popular" getting tons of favs and pageviews. Really, all that means nothing in the long run. There's lots of talented, kind, intelligent people here who may be a bit underappreciated, but are great friends/resources to those who have the mind to reach out.
