I had this in mind since I first played Yoshi's Island, but never got around to asking for some reason.^^; I bet there's tons of theories circling around about that now.

Man, I hated doing this on the computer so much, I re-colored the paper pic and just did lotsa touch-ups on the comp...X_x I wonder how people get their digital art to look so clean and CG an all...:p

I've always thought it was their feces, seeing as how they pop out after eating something. =P The overall coloring and the expressions of the Yoshis look very nice. I think you did a good job cleaning things up, and the idea is indeed very intriguing. :thumbsup:

Bwaha. XD Love the expression. (Personally I've always wondered more why Yoshi lays eggs despite the fact he's said to be male. <_< Maybe the boy Yoshis only lay the throwing kind of eggs? :D)

Just take it this way, they are another type of creatures that they don't need to breed because they have no genders! and they don't throw "craps" but eggs with babies in it instead! XD

that's how i keep thinking of them,
and OMG! Yoshies in your style are so cute and cool! i like your style alot, lizard! :D
