The animation internship I worked on in college was for a film student making a short animation for his final project. It's called 'Hail Hitler' and is a sitcom about Hitler being warped to modern-day New York. Weird? yes. Offensive? Obviously. Funny? If you like jokes involving Jews and ovens!
I did the rough animatics, and some of the intro. Also drew the interiors of the cars. Anyways, it was rushed in parts, but I'm satisfied overall with our product.
I've finally graduated from college with a bachelors in Art Studio.
Nothing fancy, but at least I'm out.
I now have a ton of half-finished paintings, and no studio to fix them. (they're mostly just abstract crap, so it's not a major issue)
I took an animation workshop over the summer, which ended up being just another internship, on I HAD TO PAY FOR IT! XS Not very fun, since we were given very little instruction and I had no experience with 3D software. I managed to animate one scene, so I'm glad for that at least.
I'm still trying to find a job. (well, more like procrastinating...)
I'm not sure whether or not to take a desk job... I'd really like to get another art internship, but all those are in Southern California, and I'm in Sacramento. Not worth the drive unless it's really good.
I'm taking City College classes so as to not suck at 3D art.
I still feel that 3D is the wave of the future, which is why I'm still set on it instead of just focusing on illustration. I am open to an illustration job, but I want to be varied too.
So, that's it, in case you're curious.
